My name is “Renny J” and I'm from Brooklyn, NY. My grandfather & father (Reunald Sr. & Jr. respectively) were well known & accomplished trumpet players who have played with artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Quincy Jones, The Famous Flames, (James Brown), & Nat King Cole, to name a few.
Because of my unique playing style, I have recorded w/ Parliament/Funkadelic (“Clones of Dr. Funkenstein” album), Donna Summer (“Bad Girls”), Debra Laws, Toni Braxton, and many other artists. I currently produce music for soundtracks and various projects.
