The new Songbox Player

Songbox was originally conceived to share audio tracks and audio tracks alone. As the platform grew and was adopted by more and more users, for more and more use cases it became apparent that images - and then video - were a big part of what out users wanted to do.

With this new redesign we engaged two world class digital product designers and gave them two things - 1) all of the feedback we had from users and 2) absolute free reign to solve the problem of how to let tracks, images, videos, links and all the other bells and whistles of a Songbox page co-exist on the one page. Especially on mobile devices where screen real estate is at a premium.

What we've landed on is a new fully modular player. Wether you want just tracks or if you want to include artwork, images, videos, lyrics, track notes, downloads - the page changes form to suit your needs and always looks great.
