Updates
Songbox accounts now support Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), adding an extra layer of security to keep your music, catalogue, and shared links safer than ever. It takes less than a minute to enable and works with all major authenticator apps.
Your music matters. Your privacy matters. Protecting both has always been a core part of what we do at Songbox. Today, we are strengthening that commitment by introducing Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for all Songbox accounts.
Security should be simple, and it should also be strong. 2FA adds a short additional step when you log in, ensuring that only you can access your account, your catalogue, and your shared links.
Songbox is used every day by artists, labels, publishers, and industry teams to share unreleased music, sensitive files, and private links. As the platform grows, it becomes even more important to provide protection against account breaches.
2FA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access by requiring a time based verification code from your authenticator app, even if someone has obtained your password.
Enabling 2FA takes less than a minute:
From your next login, you will enter your password and then a verification code from your authenticator app. This provides an additional layer of protection every time you sign in.
2FA is optional, but it is strongly recommended for anyone working with sensitive or pre release material.
2FA is the first in a series of security improvements we are rolling out across Songbox. More enhancements are already planned to give you additional protection and more control over your account and content.
Your music deserves secure and reliable sharing, and that's what we're all about here at Songbox!
