Your username (@handle)
Pick a username so you can join the conversation on posts.
Your username is your identity in the conversation — it shows as an @handle next to anything you say.
Why you need one
You'll be asked to pick a username before you can comment on a post. It keeps the conversation friendly and recognisable, so people know who's who.
Setting it
Open your account settings and choose a username. It can use letters, numbers, full stops and underscores, and each one is unique. You can set it once and forget about it.
