New features, shaped by your feedback

You talk, we build. This round of updates came straight from your feedback, so here's what's new.

Songboxes are now playlists

The thing you create and share is now called a playlist, not a songbox. Same feature, clearer word, so no more "what's a songbox?" when you send someone a link. Nothing changes about your existing links, pages, or content, and Songbox is still Songbox, the platform. It's just easier to explain now.

A rebuilt player

Shuffle, repeat, a proper volume control, and an autoplay switch so a track can end without automatically rolling into the next one. Whoever you share with gets to listen their way.

Set your own running order

Drag a shared tracklist into the order you want. It saves just for you, on your device, with no account needed, and the owner can adopt any proposed order as the definitive sequence.

Dark mode

Easier on the eyes for those late sessions. It's opt-in, so nothing changes unless you turn it on, and you can switch back any time.

Collections

Group several playlists onto one shareable page, give it its own look and feel, and send a single link instead of a dozen.

Keep it coming

The next round is already being shaped by what you send in. If there's something you wish Songbox did, tell us. We're listening.
