My collaborator or recipient can't download a track

Almost always because downloads are switched off for that Songbox.

If someone can play your tracks but can't download them, the Songbox most likely has downloads turned off — that's the default.

Switch downloads on

  1. From the main menu, open Songboxes and open the one they're using.
  2. Go to its settings and switch on the download option.
  3. Ask them to refresh the page — a download control will now be available.

Other things to check

  • Make sure they can actually open the Songbox first — if it's restricted, they need to be invited and verified. See My recipient can't open the Songbox.
  • Confirm they're looking at the right Songbox — downloads are set per Songbox, so one may allow them while another doesn't.
