Add metadata to a track
Add details like genre, BPM, key and artwork so your tracks are easy to understand and search.
Metadata is the extra information that describes a track — things like genre, tempo, key and artwork. Good metadata helps your listeners (and your future self) understand a track at a glance.
Edit metadata
- From the main menu, open Catalog and click the track.
- Go to its metadata section.
- Fill in the details you want, then save.
Artwork
You can upload custom artwork for each track from the same place. It appears in the player and in listings.
A little help from us
After you upload, we automatically suggest tags such as genre and mood. You are always free to adjust or add to these yourself.
