Replace a track's audio and restore earlier versions
Swap in a new mix without losing the old one — and roll back if you change your mind.
Working on a new mix? You can replace a track's audio while keeping its place in your catalogue and every Songbox it belongs to. Your previous audio is kept as a version so nothing is lost.
Replace the audio
- From the main menu, open Catalog and click the track to open its management page.
- Choose to swap or replace the audio, then upload the new file.
- Once it finishes processing, the new version plays everywhere the track appears.
Add a note
You can add a short note to a version (for example "final master" or "vocal up 1dB") so you remember what changed.
Restore an earlier version
Changed your mind? Open the track's versions and restore an earlier one. It becomes the active audio again.
