How to upload a track
Add audio to your catalogue so you can share it in a Songbox.
To share music in a Songbox, first upload it to your catalogue.
Upload your audio
- From the main menu, open Catalog.
- Choose to upload, then pick one or more audio files from your device (or drag them in).
- Wait for the upload to complete.
What happens next
Once a file lands, we prepare it for you automatically: we create a smooth streaming version and generate the waveform you see in the player. We also analyse the track to suggest genre, mood and other tags. This processing happens in the background and can take a little while, especially for large files — your track is safe in your catalogue the whole time.
Tips
- Upload high-quality audio for the best playback for your listeners.
- You can upload several tracks at once and tidy them up afterwards.
