Delete tracks and restore deleted ones
Deleting hides a track straight away, and you have 48 hours to bring it back.
Deleting a track is safe and reversible for a short window, so an accidental delete is easy to undo.
Delete a track
- From the main menu, open Catalog and select the track (or tracks).
- Choose to delete.
The track disappears from your catalogue and from any Songboxes straight away.
Restore within 48 hours
Deleted tracks move to Recently Deleted. For 48 hours you can restore them from there, and they return to your catalogue. After 48 hours, a deleted track is removed permanently and can't be recovered.
If you think you deleted something important, restore it from Recently Deleted as soon as you can — don't wait, because the 48-hour window can't be extended.
