My track upload failed or is stuck

What to try when a track won't finish uploading or processing.

Most uploads that seem stuck are simply still working in the background. Here is how to get things moving.

Give it a moment

After a file uploads, we prepare a streaming version and waveform. Large files take longer. If a track shows as still processing, wait a few minutes and refresh the page.

Check your file and connection

  • Make sure you are uploading a standard audio file that plays normally on your device.
  • A patchy connection can interrupt an upload — try again on a stable network.
  • Very large files take longer; let them finish before navigating away.

Still stuck?

Try the upload once more from a refreshed page. If a track is still stuck after a while, get in touch with us and tell us the track name — we can take a look.
